1. Information We Collect
Feedo collects information required to operate the Services efficiently, ensure secure access, improve performance, and enable restaurants to use POS, billing, QR ordering, table management, KOT generation, reporting, staff management, and related modules effectively. Information may be collected directly from users, automatically through software performance tracking, or indirectly through integrated systems.
Information provided directly by the user may include personal details such as name, mobile number, email address, login credentials, business name, business address, GST information when voluntarily supplied, and related account setup information. Restaurants may store within Feedo operational data such as table names, area configurations, order history, KOT details, online ordering data, customer names and numbers as entered by the restaurant for the purpose of fulfilling orders, menu details, pricing, tax configurations, business hours, staff names, role-based permissions, attendance records, and inventory or recipe-related data they choose to maintain.
Feedo may also collect device information automatically, including IP address, browser type, operating system, usage data, session duration, request logs, click activity, language preferences, location approximations derived through IP, and software diagnostics required to maintain service reliability. This also includes automated collection through cookies and similar technologies used for session management, analytics, fraud detection, and user interface personalization.
As part of POS or online ordering workflows, restaurants may input customer details to process orders, such as customer name, order notes, delivery address, contact number, or payment reference identifiers. Feedo processes such information strictly for enabling the order or service requested by the restaurant and does not repurpose it for unrelated commercial purposes.
Payment-related information such as card numbers, UPI handles, or net banking credentials is not stored by Feedo. Such information is processed exclusively by third-party payment gateways integrated by the restaurant. Feedo only stores transactional references, status, and the minimal data required to maintain billing history, subscription status, or order confirmations.

2. How We Use Information
Information collected is used to operate Feedo’s Services, provide technical support, manage user accounts, process orders and transactions, generate bills and KOTs, manage menus, track inventory, analyze business performance, secure user sessions, ensure accurate reporting, and enable smooth functioning of the POS, QR menu, online ordering, and table management systems.
Feedo may use collected information to authenticate accounts, prevent unauthorized access, manage subscription billing, and assist restaurants with troubleshooting. Information may be used to send service-related notifications, including order confirmations, technical alerts, downtime notices, updates to product features, and support communications. Feedo may analyze usage patterns to optimize platform performance, diagnose issues, and improve functionality. Any data used for improvement or analytics is treated in compliance with applicable security and privacy considerations.
Feedo may use transactional data to generate sales reports, GST-friendly summaries, business insights, table occupancy analytics, staff productivity summaries, and related internal tools that assist restaurants in evaluating their operations.
Marketing communication, if sent, will only be directed to email addresses voluntarily provided, and users may request discontinuation of such communication at any time.

3. Sharing of Information
Feedo does not sell user information. Information may be shared only in specific circumstances required to operate the Services or comply with legal obligations. Third-party service providers supporting hosting infrastructure, cloud storage, database management, analytics, communication systems, or payment gateways may receive limited access to data strictly for performing their operational tasks. Such third parties maintain their own compliance frameworks and do not gain independent rights to use the data.
Feedo may share information where required by law, government requests, court orders, tax obligations, fraud investigations, or compliance with regulatory instructions. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to protect Feedo’s rights, investigate violations of terms, address security threats, prevent misuse of the Services, or ensure safety of users.
If Feedo undergoes any organizational change such as restructuring, merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Feedo uses cookies, local storage, analytics tags, and server logs to maintain session states, remember user preferences, optimize load times, track performance, and analyze how users interact with the Services. These technologies support system functionality, security, UI customization, and operational continuity across browser sessions.
Users may disable cookies through browser settings, though doing so may affect the ability to use certain modules or require repeated login credentials. Feedo does not use cookies to collect sensitive personal information but uses them to ensure consistent POS functionality, QR ordering behavior, and user authentication.

5. Data Retention
Information collected and processed through Feedo is retained for as long as necessary to provide Services, maintain user accounts, comply with legal and accounting requirements, manage tax obligations, or for operational continuity. Restaurant billing records, order logs, transaction summaries, and tax-related data may be retained in accordance with applicable Indian laws requiring long-term recordkeeping.
If a user or restaurant discontinues using Feedo or requests account deletion, Feedo may continue retaining certain information required for its legitimate business needs, fraud prevention, outstanding dues, or compliance obligations. Non-essential data may be deleted or anonymized as per Feedo’s data lifecycle processes.
6. Data Security
Feedo employs reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes encrypted communication channels, restricted system access, secure storage practices, authentication controls, and periodic audits. However, users acknowledge that no online system can offer absolute security and agree to maintain confidentiality of login credentials, restrict staff access responsibly, and follow good digital hygiene practices while using Feedo.
Feedo does not store sensitive financial data such as card numbers or UPI credentials; such information is handled by integrated payment gateways in compliance with PCI-DSS or equivalent standards.

7. User Rights and Controls
Users may request access to certain data associated with their account, request correction of inaccuracies, seek deletion of specific information subject to legal constraints, or request assistance regarding account operations. Restaurants may modify or delete customer data they have stored within Feedo’s Services as part of their business workflow. Feedo reserves the right to verify account ownership before processing any such requests.
Users may contact Feedo to opt out of non-essential communications or marketing messages. Mandatory service notifications may continue as necessary for account or product functionality.

Feedo is not responsible for the privacy practices of external services, and users accessing these are subject to their respective policies. Restaurants using third-party delivery partners, payment gateways, or other integrations are responsible for adhering to those third-party policies.

10. Policy Changes
Feedo may revise or update this Privacy Policy periodically. Users will be informed of significant updates through Feedo’s website or other appropriate communication channels. Continued use of Feedo after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
